About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Strategic Planning Senior Manager who will work closely with the Merchant Services team to give thorough strategic planning and recommendations that help in important decision-making processes. A strong communicator who can manage investor relations by preparing financial models and reports will be ideal. This role will also take charge of budget planning and monitoring.
What you will do
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to gather and analyze data
- Develop financial models and strategic recommendations that help guide the decision-making process for long-term strategic planning to optimize revenue/cost drivers and new business initiatives
- Interact with business unit leads to analyze business performance and drive positive strategic changes across the Merchant Services organization
- Assist in the preparation of regular and ad hoc internal reporting (highlighting key financial and business performance indicators) and investor communications
- Support strategic initiatives, such as historical performance analysis, cohort analysis, market research, and benchmarking
- Building budgets and conducting quarterly reviews in close collaboration with all managers across the organization
What you will need
- At least 6 years of experience in Financial Consulting, Transaction Advisory, or Financial Planning & Analysis
- Bachelor's degree from top tier university
- A prior experience in a startup or Internet company will be a plus
- Strong understanding of business and financial statements, P&L, cashflow, and balance sheet
- Outstanding analytical skills, agile and hands-on, high attention to detail
- High-level command of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SQL or other querying languages will be a plus
